Here are pictures of a few of Sustainable Morse Park volunteers and neighbors enjoying a ribbon cutting (actually a lighting) ceremony at Whitlock Recreation Center. The event yesterday celebrated the installation of solar panels that not only generates enough electricity to run the rec center it also protects cars from hail, snow and hot weather. This important Whitlock Solar project grant through the Sustainable department of Lakewood is one of many reasons we feel proud to live in such a unique community in Lakewood at Morse Park.
Happy New Year! We’d love to see you tonight at our monthly meeting! Clements Community Center,6:00 .
