One of our neighbors have their Morse Park neighborhood home on this annual garden tour event. Their garden has examples of annual and perennial flower beds using waterwise techniques and native plants, a large organic vegetable garden, and demonstrations of use of recycled and upcycled materials to enhance the function and ambience of the yard and garden. A display table will be available to highlight the Sustainable Neighborhood Program so plan on attending to discover new things!![]()

Today’s Yard Waste event was a great success, especially to the planet 🌎 Thanks to Colorado Compost, Lakewood Church of the Nazarene for letting us use their parking lot,and Home Depot for donating bags. 49 of you showed up with approximately 120 bags of yard waste that didn’t go into a landfill and will be made into beautiful compost by Compost Colorado . Your donations helped pay for today; we were able to use donations from previous events to make up the difference and settle today’s tab. Thanks especially to all the volunteers who helped make this event possible !!
